Gas Release System
The ABERTAX® Technologies GRS has been specially developed for installing in Gel & AGM batteries. The ABERTAX® GRS releases the pressure build-up of gas in a battery, and also prevents air from entering into the cell which may ruin the plates. This patented device incorporates a unique diaphragm system which makes this valve a completely reliable, safe and extremely efficient unit. The device, due to its exceptional design, lends itself to additional specific customer requirements.
GRS M18
GRS M18 for VRLA Batteries This valve is an important part for all industrial VRLA batteries in GEL and AGM technology. The GRS CD with a central degassing function was especially developed for AGM automotive batteries. Main features:
- IATA approved
- Opening pressure can be calibrated between 100 - 300 mbar (1.45 – 4.35 psi)
- All valves 100 % tested
- Very small tolerances in opening and closing pressure
- Reduce water loss in VRLA batteries and hence improve battery cycle life
Push In
The Abertax® GRS Push-In is used for applications requiring a Push-In adapter assembly. It consists of an Abertax® GRS M18S with a Push-In adapter attached.
Bayonette
The Abertax® GRS Bayonet is used for applications requiring a bayonet adapter assembly. It consists of an Abertax® GRS M18S with a bayonet attached
GRS M27
GRS for VRLA Batteries, push-in type This valve is an important part for all industrial VRLA batteries in GEL and AGM technology. The GRS CD with a central degassing function was especially developed for AGM automotive batteries. Main features:
