Abertax Technologies is an independent venture within the Abertax group of companies. The group was set up over 20 years ago to research, design and produce innovative products. Today the company has a number of innovative patented products:
- Battery Management Unit (BMU);
- Battery Monitoring System (BMS);
- On-line Battery Monitoring System (e²BMS);
- Capacitive Level Sensors (CLS) for Flooded Batteries;
- Gas Release Systems (GRS) for VRLA Batteries;
- Licensing for the production of the Intelligent Battery (IB).
All these products are aimed primarily at use in the battery environment. Also offered in the company’s range are Water Inlet Valves (MV) for industrial cleaning machines and for Roof Tanks/Water Storage Tanks.
Research and Development is an ongoing process and the company has a team of electrical,electronics, mechanical and chemical engineers with more than 25 years’ experience in battery technology. Teamwork and collaboration with other members of the Abertax group, ensures customer satisfaction, which is the basis of the company’s success. Abertax, through its battery experts, also provides expertise and advice on the set-up of battery manufacturing plants and problem-solving in the battery production process.
